Bb. Pilipinas 2017

Bb. Pilipinas 2017 is just around the corner. The pageant is now on a roar leading to its coronation night sometime the end of April.

Ladies who stands out are the following:

1. #15 Mariel de Leon.  Daughter of showbiz celebrities Christopher de Leon and Sandy Andolong. She is an Opera singer. She is one of the most beautiful faces to have ever grace the Binibini pageant.  A top contender indeed.

2. #13 Sirene Sutton. A strong candidate since the day of the screening. She is running as an independent. Her beauty and presence can hardly be ignored. A winner waiting for a crown. 

3. #32 Charmaine Elima. An accomplished flight stewardess by profession. This comeback beauty is back with a vengeance. Her universally appealing exotic look sets her apart from this years batch of beauties. Her look alone is a perfect fit for the 2 major crowns at stake. 

4. #19 Rachel Peters. This Solenn Heaussaff deadringer is also a contender for a major crown. Her overall look and styling is always classy. 

5. #21 Jamaica Ambal. One of the glamazon beauties in this year's batch. She has the face and the body. Will not be surprised if she takes home a crown.

6. #22 Chanel Olive Thomas. A former Miss Earth warrior. This lovely lady is growing stronger by the day. She's got that oommph factor which makes her extra appealing.

7. #26 Rufa Nava. Oh..... that face is just lovely.  The epitome of a beautiful Filipina. Bow.

The procedure for the selection of winners are reportedly as follows.
1. Top 20 will be selected based on preliminary events. These girls will compete in the swimsuit round.
2. The best girls in the swimsuit round will comprise the top 11. They will compete in evening gown and preliminary Q and A.
3. The best 7 will be selected. Another Q and A round.
4. The top 2 girls will compete for another round of Q and A. The best one will be proclaimed Miss Universe Philippines. The second best, Bb. Pilipinas international. The ladies who made it to the top 7 but failed to enter the top 2 will each be awarded the remaining crowns.

Mr. Nawat of Miss Grand International will be gracing the event. He will have the upper hand in choosing the Binibini whom he feels best suit his pageant. #2 Arienne Calingo who speaks Thai is said to be a shoo in for the title.

Bb. Pilipinas 2016

My BBP 2016 bet.

The finals is on Apr. 17, 2016, barely 2 weeks from today. We have a very strong batch. After a series of disqualifications, (7 binibinis were disqualified due to different reasons) the pageant is finally heating up. They just finished the JAG jeans/National Costume show last night. They also did a swimwear show nights before.

After viewing the pics and videos from the said events, here are my favorites. Hope they make the cut on the finals night.

1. Bb. 4 Kimberly Penchon

pretty face with alluring sex appeal. pwedeng ihanay internationally nang hindi masasapawan. Universally appealing with just the right amont of exoticness.

2. Bb. 13 Joanna Eden

At 19 she is young, raw and fresh. And even tall. Classic Filipina beauty. If she deliver the goods comes finals night, she might just bring home a crown.

3. Bb. 21 Jessica Gonzales

Tallest among all candidates at 6'0". She could be our own version of Luo Zilin.

4. Bb. 27 Dindi Joy Pajares

The best body of the competition, combined with a bubbly attitude, she's in it to win it.

5. Bb. 28 Nichole Manalo

The youngest of the Manalo sisters. After a not so successful attempt a few years back, this girl is back with a vengeance. A more beautiful and ready Nichole is ready to take on one of the crowns.

6. Bb. 29 Maxine Medina

A good follow-up to last years Pia Wurstbach. Oriental goddess ready to conquer and slay.

7. Bb. 31 Kylie Verzosa

One of this year's front runners. Very pretty. Very sexy. She's undeniably on her A game. Ready to snatch that crown she desires most.

8. Bb. 38 Angelica Alita

The prettiest of the batch. Simply the face of the competition. Picture perfect always.

9. Bb. 10 Jeslyn Santos

Wow!!! look at that swan like neck. Gorgeous and irresistible beauty.

10. Bb. 11 Nicole Cordoves

Well, well,well..... Define classiness and that's our girl Nicole. This former Miss Chinatown is ready for the big battle. Not to mention, she communicates well. Indeed very ready.
