Mariel, as we all know, is the daughter of Actors Christopher De Leon and Sandy Andolong. She joined Bb. Pilipinas twice before earning the chance to represent the Philippines in Miss International. She is an opera singer and is also now an actress. She is set to debut in the movie, Ang Panday, starring Coco Martin.
Mariel is naturally on the curvy side. She is big-framed as well. But her height compliments it well giving her a good proportioned body. She looks angelic yet sensual. She looks fragile yet oozes with tons of sex appeal. She has the Barbie doll look that MIO adores and at the same time possesses the Baywatch babe vavavoom sexiness. She is a Disney princess and an Anime bombshell combined.
She has a good chance (a very strong one) in bringing home the crown this year. Though it may seem impossible since the Philippines is the current title holder (Kylie Versoza). A back-to-back has not happened in the history of Miss International. This makes Mariel's quest for the crown a lot more difficult that her competitors.

Looking at the pictures above, I am confident that Mariel will deliver. She has all the goods Miss International wants. She definitely passed the looks department. In addition, she articulates well. She is a good communicator. Recently The pageant has been focusing on ladies who speaks well, as the winner will act as the official ambassador/spokesperson of the MIO.
