Bb. Pilipinas in their National costume part 2

The second most popular Filipiñana costume is the Maria Clara. This gives an authentic and conservative vibe to the overall Filipina look.

The following ladies rock in their Maria Clara gown.

Bb. no. 10 Jehza Huelar

This is a carnival queen inspired Maria Clara. Festive and decorative. The sarimanok inspiration gives the Mulawin vibe. A little bit on the fantasy side but the overall look maintains the classic Maria Clara aura. Jehza exudes the required regal presence.

Bb. no. 16 Larah Grace Lacap

Beauty in simplicity. That's what I like about this Maria Clara gown. In all its authenticity, The Maria Clara brings out that inner charm of the Filipina.

Bb. no. 17 Camille Manalo

Camille looks like she step out of a classic Filipino painting. The silver details on the white fabric are perfect combinations. The amulet and the headpiece make this ensemble Reyna Elena ready.

Bb. no. 23 Arah Salientes

I like the rich color and the patterns on this dress. The hardened panuelo and the full skirt exude classic elegance. Stunning indeed.

Bb. no. 38 Ana Patricia Asturias

This is certainly a favorite. It has all the elements of a Maria Clara gown. The headpiece, the panuelo, the choker, the abaniko and the drape around the waist. It may seem too much, but with the right combination of colors, patterns and texture, the right layering makes it perfect.

So who is the best in Maria Clara?  I would say its Bb. no. 38 Ana Patricia Asturias.
