Miss Philippines for Miss World

Dear Kababayans and all Miss Philippines' loving fans,

Its time once again to pull our forces together as we vote for the new Miss World. Just like the previous years, The Miss World pageant will utilize the SMS voting system as part of its judging system. There will be more than 100 participants in the competition this year. The ladies shall be divided according to geographical zones : the Asia-Pacific group, the Northern Europe group, the Southern Europe group, the America group, the Caribbean group and the Africa group. From each zone, 2 will be chosen as semifinalist thru SMS and internet voting. Aside from the 12 voted semifinalist, the other girls who are not so popular with fans will still have a chance to enter the semis thru 4 fast track events namely the beach beauty event; the talent competition; the sportfest and the "Beauty with a Purpose" award.

The SMS voting system will be a great tool to help our favorites to enter the semifinalist. So, fans from all over the world, don't forget to vote for your favorites. Please include Miss Philippines in your list of favorites. Miss Philippines is Anna Maris Igpit, 19 yo, from the province of Bohol.
